Why choose us for mould.
Source correction, containment and removal.
Mould inspection & remediation
The mould remediation process.
Investigate. Contain. Remove. Rebuild.
We track the moisture behind the growth, then coordinate mould inspection and sampling before any work begins.
We contain the work area, remove affected material, and control air quality during the work.
We correct the moisture source, then reconstruct the affected areas so the problem does not return.
What mould remediation includes.
Moisture investigation, mould inspection and testing coordination, containment, removal and remediation, air-quality considerations, source correction, asbestos testing when required, and reconstruction of affected areas.
Mould, musty smell or moisture?
Tested before, tested after.
Air and surface samples go to an accredited lab, so your results are on paper, not just our word.
Moisture source corrected
Containment in place
Clearance before handover

Moisture corrected, containment held, space rebuilt.
We document the mould, the moisture and the results before work starts, so the job and your insurance claim both move forward.

How this works, decision by decision
Decision 1: Where mould remediation is used
Mould remediation is used where mould has grown from moisture: after leaks, in damp basements, in bathrooms and in the wall cavity. The size and the location decide the method.
| Area | Typical growth | What matters most |
|---|---|---|
| Basement | Walls, joists, subfloor | Moisture source |
| Bathroom | Grout, ceiling, drywall | Ventilation |
| Wall cavity | Hidden growth behind finish | Opening and containment |
| Attic | Roof deck, insulation | Ventilation and condensation |
Our pick: Find the moisture before the mould. Remediation without the source returns.
Decision 2: Finding the source
Mould follows moisture. The source is found and fixed first, because a clean wall with the water still coming in grows mould again.
| Source | Check |
|---|---|
| Leak | Plumbing, roof, windows |
| Condensation | Ventilation and insulation |
| Ground water | Grade, drainage, waterproofing |
Our pick: Fix the source before the clean. The clean is only as good as the water it stops.
Decision 3: Containment
The work area is sealed so the spores do not spread through the house. Negative air and barriers keep the rest of the house clean.
| Measure | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Plastic barriers | Seal the work area |
| Negative air | Pulls air out through filtration |
| Entry and exit | Controlled access |
Our pick: Contain before anything is opened. A disturbed mould area without containment spreads.
Decision 4: Removal and cleaning
Porous materials that are colonised are removed. Hard surfaces are cleaned and treated. The method is chosen for each material.
| Material | Method |
|---|---|
| Drywall and insulation | Removed |
| Wood framing | Cleaned and dried |
| Hard surfaces | Cleaned and treated |
Our pick: Remove porous material that has grown. Clean the rest and check it dry.
Decision 5: Drying and verification
The area is dried to target before the rebuild. Readings confirm the moisture is down, and the clearance test confirms the air.
| Check | Target |
|---|---|
| Framing moisture | Within the target |
| Air | Clearance test passed |
| Surfaces | Clean and dry |
Our pick: Dry and test before the rebuild. A finish over damp framing grows mould again.
Decision 6: Safety and personal protection
The crew wears protection and the household is kept out of the area. Mould can affect the lungs and the skin.
| Hazard | Action |
|---|---|
| Spores in the air | Respirators and filtration |
| Occupants | Kept out of the work area |
| Electrical | Power off to the area |
Our pick: Protect the crew and the household. The area is off limits until cleared.
Decision 7: Documentation and clearance
The remediation is recorded: the source, the materials removed, the cleaning and the clearance test. The record is what the insurer and the next buyer will ask for.
| Record | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Source finding | What caused the growth |
| Removal log | What was removed and where |
| Clearance test | The air after the work |
Our pick: Keep the record with the house file. It is the proof the remediation was done.
Decision 8: Rebuild and coordination
After the clearance the rebuild starts. The new material is installed on dry, clean framing, and the trades are coordinated.
| Trade | What it needs |
|---|---|
| Framing | Dry and clean |
| Drywall and insulation | Installed after clearance |
| Painting | Primed with a mould-resistant primer |
Our pick: Rebuild only after the clearance. A rebuild over a live source starts the cycle again.
Decision 9: Prevention and recheck
Prevention is the ventilation, the moisture control and the source checks. A recheck after the first heavy season confirms the work held.
| Item | What to do |
|---|---|
| Ventilation | Kept running in damp areas |
| Humidity | Kept in a healthy range |
| Recheck | After the first heavy season |
Our pick: Control the moisture and recheck after the first heavy season.
