Designers
She doesn’t refer contractors. She refers processes.
Talent isn’t the variable. Consistency is. Here is how designers keep their clients, their specifications and their name intact.
FACT!
Our pricing comes from a system, not from memory, a gut feel or what the client seems able to pay.
- Who: interior designers who specify finishes and want them delivered as drawn.
- What you send: your spec sheet, finish selections and layouts.
- Where we start: a ClearScope™ takeoff of 170+ line items, priced before a trade sets foot on site.
She learned early that talent isn’t the variable. Consistency is.
Over the years she had worked with talented people. Real skill, real instinct, real taste. And she had watched some of them deliver something exceptional on one project, then show up completely differently on the next. Same contractor. Different result. Different price. Sometimes a very different price, and she never quite understood why.
The problem with inconsistent pricing
That was the part that bothered her most. Not only the inconsistency in the build, but the inconsistency in how contractors charged. Same scope, different client, different number.
She had seen contractors read a room and price accordingly. Seen them look at a high-end finish package and quietly add a few thousand, because they figured nobody would question it. Seen invoices arrive different from the quote, with explanations that did not quite add up.
Her clients trusted her. They came to her because she had standards. She could not keep referring people into a process she could not predict, financially or otherwise.
She needed a contractor whose pricing came from a system.
Not from memory. Not from gut feel. Not from how much they thought the client could afford. From a process that ran the same way on every project, for every client.
When she found that, she stopped looking.
How we work with designers
You have selections. We have a system that fits them like a hand in a glove.
Every finish you specify, every material you select and every detail you have documented goes directly into our ClearScope™ takeoff. One hundred and seventy line items, pulled from your spec sheet, from the drawings and from every decision you have already made, priced with full integrity before a single trade sets foot on site.
That number does not come from whoever picks up the phone that day. It does not go up because the client seems wealthy. It does not shift because someone decided mid-project that the market changed. It comes from the takeoff, and it stays there.
That is what we mean by pricing with integrity. Not that we are honest, since every contractor says that. The price has a source you can point to, a document you can read and a line item for every dollar. Your client is not taking our word for it. They are reading the scope.
And because everything is scoped before we start, when something changes (and things always change), the change is documented, explained and approved before it costs anything. No surprises at the end of a project.
Your selections arrive in the space the way you specified them. Your client is happy. Your name stays clean. And when they ask who you used, you already know the answer.
What you get beyond the build
We are organized, optimized and equipped to handle everything between your handshake with the client and the final walkthrough, so you don’t have to.
- Progress reports on a schedule.
- Updates the moment something relevant happens on site.
- Scope changes documented and communicated in real time.
- One relationship that stays between you and your client, built on trust, not on them calling you to ask what is going on.
You focus on the next project, the next client, the next design. We handle the construction, at scale, without dropping the standard.
What to expect, start to finish
Before we start
Your spec sheet goes into ClearScope™. Every line item priced, every selection locked. You see the full scope document and approve it before anything moves.
During the build
One point of contact. Regular progress reports. Real-time updates on anything that affects your finishes. Scope changes documented and approved before they happen, not after.
At handover
We walk the space together before we call it done. If it does not match the spec, it gets corrected. We do not consider a project finished until it looks like what you designed.
After
Your client refers their friends. They refer you. You refer us. The whole thing compounds, because the system keeps delivering.
