Description.
A finished basement in Vaughan, done for Sonaya, from the staircase to the shower.
The client. Sonaya ran a home-based business while raising her family, and wanted the basement finished as a space for her clients to come into.
The job. A finished basement in Vaughan, built out for her.
What we did. Wood-look flooring and pot lights through the open basement area, a staircase with dark treads and white risers, and a glass shower with a mosaic accent wall.

Basement living area
Flat-panel cabinets in a light finish, a stone-clad island and stone backsplash. Floating wood shelves and a built-in wine fridge keep the storage clean.
Staircase
A built-in media wall with open shelving and a linear fireplace in a grey stone surround. It anchors the room and hides the wiring.
Shower
A glass walk-in shower, a freestanding tub, a floating vanity with a backlit mirror, and matte black fixtures.
